Practice at SPONS

Levels

SPONS has different training levels (A/B/C), with level A consisting of advanced swimmers, and level C consisting of novice swimmers. Each level trains in its own lane in the pool. In doubt about which level you belong in? Then contact the Board or ask a trainer.

Please note: in all training sessions, it is assumed that you can swim 25 metres (1 lane) of breaststroke uninterrupted and 50 metres (2 lanes) of breaststroke uninterrupted. Can’t do this yet? Then follow the swimming course first.

Different practices

There are workouts for SPONS members only, and workouts open to anyone with a USC swimming subscription. All these training sessions are taught by SPONS trainers. The USC training sessions also feature (many) SPONS members. For the fanatics among us, this means you can also train for multiple hours in a row.

Ather the training there are drinks at Cafe Bobbi’s.
